Toaster broken? Kettle giving up? Between April 2025 and March 2026 we offered anyone living in North London (Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Hackney, Haringey, Islington and Waltham Forest) 50% off the cost of electrical and electronic product repairs.
This scheme has now closed. If you already have a voucher, you can still use it until 30 April 2026 at a participating business near you.
Save money, reduce waste and help the environment.
This project was funded by the North London Waste Authority and was delivered in partnership by The Restart Project, ReLondon and fix1.today - powered by FixFirst.

As soon as it becomes available, a voucher will be emailed directly to you. This voucher will include a QR code that will be scanned by businesses when you bring in your item for repair. If you don’t have a phone, the QR code can also be printed. Check out your local library if you need any help with printing.

Repairing is important as it helps to reduce waste of valuable materials (including metals and critical minerals) and can also avoid the purchase of a new item and the environmental impact associated with manufacturing. This scheme aims to assess whether reducing the cost of repair helps Londoners access repair services and builds demand for local businesses over the long-term. The results of the trial will be used to inform future project delivery and policy design.
