The City of London Corporation is the governing body of the Square Mile, London’s financial district. Our mission is to support and educate everyone who lives, works, learns and explores here to adopt circularity. We encourage residents to reduce waste, reuse and repair their items through events and campaigns across the year, including our popular Give and Take days!
The City Corporation and Square Mile aim to operate within a circular economy by 2040 which requires a systematic shift in how business and life operates to make it a reality. We have recently published a new Circular Economy Framework which will help transition the City of London to a Circular City by 2040, in line with our targets in the Climate Action Strategy.
