We are Colèchi a collective and research agency actioning sustainable development in the fashion industry. As a team we work to humanise clothing again through curation, workshops and insight; working in between brands, education and government in collaboration with our collective that includes growers, weavers, designers, media to recycler.
YKWU (You can Knit With Us) is Colèchi’s very own knitting club. We started YKWU as a way to encourage people to take part in the art of producing fashion through knitting; and to change the idea of who can knit. Each session emphasises skill sharing, multigenerational learning and making new connections. YKWU collaborates with knitwear designers, yarn producers and educators to allow an explorative reconnection with traditional clothes making.
