OMA Bikes Projects is a Community Interest Company (CIC) based in Fulham, London, dedicated to social impact through cycling. We operate as a bicycle shop that refurbishes second-hand bikes while running several community-focused initiatives.

Key projects and initiatives include:

  • Cycle Skills for Community Growth: A training program providing bike repair skills to ex-offenders to boost their employability and confidence. The project aims to place trainees in real jobs within the shop or other local businesses.
  • Better Cycling Art Project: A community initiative that uses graffiti art to engage local youth and promote safer, more sustainable cycling in Hammersmith and Fulham.
  • Free Maintenance Classes: Regular bicycle maintenance sessions for adults, covering essentials like puncture repairs, brake adjustments, and gear indexing.
  • School Maintenance Sessions: In-school workshops designed to teach young audiences bike maintenance and support extra-curricular development.
  • Reconditioned Bike Sales: Selling high-quality, serviced second-hand bicycles for both children and adults to provide affordable access to cycling while promoting a circular economy.
  • Community Rides and Events: Hosting local meet-ups and regular group rides, often in partnership with the London Cycling Campaign (LCC).
