Save The World Club, a registered charity based in Kingston, saves all kinds of items and foodstuffs from landfill or incineration and aims to keep it all circulating through upcycling, redistribution and public art. The food gets donated to vulnerable populations and families.
With the help of an NCIL grant Kingston Borough council, the charity has set up Revive-All, a WEE repair hub to repair small electrical items so they can continue to be used. Our mission is to prevent waste and landfill, repairing or upcycling where we can, so we will repair items at no cost, although donations are welcome and help keep the service running. We aim to look at most electrical items but we tend to specialise in small household appliances where it is difficult to find other repair options.
