Save The World Club is a Kingston based reuse charity dedicated to uplifting and empowering the community. We do this through facilitating eco-friendly use of spaces, redistributing fresh foods to vulnerable communities, and selling reused items from our warehouse. We also have our Revive-All electrical repair hub to prevent perfectly useable items from going to landfill or recycling.
The Revive-All electrical workshop is a permanent workspace where volunteers test and repair donations for resale in The Circulatory, https://www.savetheworldclub.org/the-circulatory. We also repair items for the public, mostly electrical, although we are expanding our range. The ethos is similar to Repair Cafes in that we repair items in return for a donation, only charging for parts, but because we have a permanent space customers can leave their items with us for repair. As our uptake is increasing we are always looking for repairers, both beginners or experts. There’s always something to do at the warehouse!
