We’re Royal Trinity Hospice, London’s answer to sustainable fashion. With 22 boutique charity shops across the city we’re on a mission to spread the love for preloved, because we believe fashion shouldn’t cost the earth.
Each year in the UK 23 million garments are thrown away, where they end up in landfill or incineration, generating 750,000 tonnes of CO2. We’re making a sustainable fashion statement by aiming to mend, upcycle or visibly repair as many donations as possible that are too damaged to sell as they are.
Over Repair Week we are promoting our new Fashion Repair Volunteer role, we are looking for people who can make visible or invisible repairs to garments, shoes or accessories, as well as upcycling items in innovative and creative ways. Whatever your skill or interest, we’d love to hear from you!
