The Clocktower Knit Nat

The Clocktower Knit Nat is a community group of knitters, crocheters, embroiders and menders who meet weekly at the Clock Tower Heritage Centre N7 9HF in Islington. A creative group accessible and friendly, we encourage multicraft practicing, intergenerational connexion and prevent loneliness. We meet every Thursday 6:30pm – 8:30pm, organise some workshops or special guest speakers and we participate to the Cally Festival in July and the Clocktower Festival in August.

We are part of the Caledonian Park Friend Group which was formed to represent park users and to protect the amenities and wildlife of the park. The Friends maintain and care for the two wildlife gardens, the community orchard, help tend the raised square beds, and also plant bulbs and flowers around the park generally.

The Friends group holds meetings about ten times a year, and also supports a number of park activities including Open Garden Squares Weekend, the Clocktower Knit Nat and the Clocktower Festival.
