Verte is on a mission to become the go-to place for premium, curated swap shopping. We want to inspire people with our vision, of a world where swapping clothing is a legitimate, inclusive shopping experience; one that is high-quality, and socially and environmentally responsible.
Verte started in 2019 with the ultimate purpose to slow the impact of fashion on the planet by extending the lifespan of clothes. Having run events all over London for men, women and children, our mission is to help people keep their wardrobes fun and updated, without buying new. With charity shops overloaded and the quality more varied, and online second hand platforms not enabling physical shopping, Verte’s vision is to help people get new items without driving new consumption. The most sustainable item you own is the one already hanging in your wardrobe! Recently Verte has run events for Westfield, Deliveroo and Soho House.

To celebrate their new website, Earth Hour (Saturday 23rd), and repair week, Verte are holding a mini-festival weekend to celebrate and bring their community together. Expect swapping, shopping, talks, exercise classes, drinks and refreshments, goodie bags and a ton of other fun surprises in store!

Friday 22nd March – Swap & Speak
Join us from 5pm for swapping over drinks as we also bring you an esteemed panel of speakers to discuss the changing ways people shop, consume and try to become more sustainable in their lives. Speakers to be announced soon! Entry to this is free! Talk at 7pm. Event finished by 8pm.
Saturday 23rd March – Swap & Sew
Drop in anytime from 10am to swap and shop as normal. Get ready for some amazing surprises throughout the day, from nail art, to hand massages.
We are also delighted to announce that Finisterre are going to be joining us to put on a drop in repair workshop from 11-2pm. Bring along any item of clothing you need repairing and the amazing team from Finisterre will be there to show you how to do it.
Sunday 24th March – Swap & Stretch
Join us from 10am for a yoga and wellness morning. Classes will be at 10am and 3pm and last 45 minutes. Swapping can be done before and after these! PLUS we will be bringing you a ton of goodies for the morning – from coffees to juices to enjoy while you shop and swap! Please note, you can drop in anytime over the weekend to shop and swap as normal, but the above are just a few extra things Verte wanted to introduce to celebrate their community and make the most from your swapping experience!
