Can they be recycled?

Hard plastic toys can’t be recycled from home, but some tips (household waste and recycling centres) will collect them for recycling.

To be safe, give the tip a call, or check their website before heading over to make sure they accept this type of item.

If your toys are in good condition, instead of recycling them, you could donate them to a charity shop or give them away for free on Olio, Freecycle or Gumtree.
